The 35th annual Harrison Festival of the Arts takes place this week and is running until July 14th. Enjoy Festival activities set against the magnificent mountains and sandy beaches of Harrison Lake, while experiencing the many fine restaurants, shops and other attractions offered by the beautiful lakeside Village of Harrison Hot Springs. This fun-filled Festival is an event the whole family can enjoy featuring music from all corners of the globe, as well as visual and literary arts, theatre, a large outdoor art and craft market, workshops and a special day for children. The 9th Annual Harrison Dragon Boat Festival will be held on July 20th. This great event brings you exciting races, community-sponsored attractions and festivities – all with the beautiful backdrop of stunning Harrison Lake. Sasquatch Days!

After nearly 70 years, Sasquatch Days came back to Harrison Hot Springs in 2012. This historic event will be repeated in 2013 on June 8th & 9th, bringing the local First Nations Band Sts’ailes back to the Village of Harrison Hot Springs for two days of games, fun and excitement. This intercultural celebration will include canoe races, traditional salmon barbeque, medicine walks, cultural boat tours, arts & craft activities, games, entertainment and most importantly talks on the Sasquatch from Sts’ailes experts and local Harrison Hot Springs Sasquatch investigators. Spring has Sprung!

Well Spring has sprung in Harrison!  The daffodils are in full bloom and the warmer weather is here.  Easter had the place packed full it looked like a mid-summer weekend on the beach with people coming out to enjoy the views and warm weather!  The annual Tulip Festival is right around the corner. If you have never attended you should as it is a sight you could never imagine until you actually see it firsthand, with hundreds of acres of Tulips in full bloom.  This event runs from the 17th of April until the blooms are gone (usually about 2 weeks).

Sasquatch Days will be held on June 8th.  This event will include bringing the local First Nations Band Sts’ailes back to the Village of Harrison Hot Springs for two days of games, fun and excitement. Easter Treasure Hunt

Join us for our first Harrison Beach Hotel Easter Treasure Hunt!

We will be hosting the Treasure Hunt on Sunday, March 31st at 10am.  All kids 12 and under are welcome to attend.  Please meet in the meeting room, located by the pool at the end of the hall. Once the kids have finished their hunt they will go back to the meeting room and be given an Easter treat.  We will also have a craft session after the hunt they are welcome to attend also. We hope to see your kids there!
